From Monday 28 August Berowra Station will have a new platform. This project is part of our Rail Clearways Plan designed to improve capacity and reliability on the metropolitan rail network.

When work is completed you will see:

• a new platform three located on the existing north bound line, including weather protection;
• station information and public address systems and closed circuit TV;
• a new pedestrian overbridge providing a new entrance to the station;
• lift access to the platforms;
• three dedicated disabled parking spaces;
• bike parking facilities; and
• footpath and landscaping works.

Berowra Station will be closed on 26 and 27 August for major works, including the demolition of the station’s obsolete access stairs.

This will mean you can use the upgraded station access including the new pedestrian overbridge, lifts, platform three and the associated access ramp and stairs, for the first time when the station reopens on Monday 28 August.
